PALESTINE|MY HEART BEATS FOR YOU

Through the struggle and the hard times

Through the day and the night time

Through the tears and red eyes

Oh Palestine, my heart beats for you!

It first started as a war termed ethnic cleansing

The Zionist wanted to clear out the Arabs without reason

But the world watched on just like it was another news on their television

Oh Palestine, my heart beats for you!

This war has ravaged Palestine for centuries destroying their land and even their culture. Their population decreases as the months go by and this trend doesn’t look like coming to an end anytime soon. Solely because the so called world leaders are behind Israel’s tyranny supporting them with military training and monetary aid and what’s most annoying is that they keep playing the “self defense” card, portraying Israel as the victim which needs protection, how sad.

If there’s anything I’ve learned is that war is not racist, it doesn’t target a specific gender neither is it country bias. It affects the young and old, the kind and wicked, male and female and it can spring up in any continent, country or city.

We’ve failed humanity

We’ve failed humanity by our silence, nonchalant attitude, we don’t seem to care cause it doesn’t affect us directly and when those who are affected flee their war ravaged country and come to ours as immigrants we close the door in their sad faces and make excuses of how overpopulated our country is or how they’ll take up our jobs or how they’ll render us homeless, how sad. We forget that war is not racist.

The least we can do is say a little prayer for them.

May the Almighty grant them peace, may He dry their tears and soothe their troubled hearts. Aameen.

Thank you for such a heartfelt post. I could really feel your sense of urgency and pain, even if I will never truly be able to empathize. Finally, I like that you included pictures and video to help illuminate the issue.
